Jobs Broadcasting To Indeed vs. Your SEO

Job board owners eagerly advertise jobs on Indeed and other aggregators. But as Indeed content gets indexed by Google faster than your original jobs, your SEO suffers.

Unique jobs from your website become duplicate of Indeed content cached earlier. Which brings down the amount of relevant content cached, drops your search engines positions and targeted job seeker traffic. So whilst helping you in the short run, aggregators undermine your SEO and value of your site in the long run.

Traffic vs conversions
Don’t be misguided by the number of visits from aggregator site. Check the bounce rate, time spent on site and actual applications you are getting. Are they worth diminishing your SEO/organic traffic?

JobMount solution
One of the nice features JobMount brings to its customers in v1.3. is limiting jobs broadcasted to only those visited by Google bot / cached.  Which would get your vacancies indexed before Indeed does. Only jobs visited by google bot will be included into XML feeds for aggregators if you select Yes in feeds configuration

Include only cached jobs
