Setting up default meta tags for job board pages
The default title, keywords, and description are applied to all pages on the job board, in addition to the page’s own name. For instance, the meta tag for the page title would look like this: “About us: Default title text.”
1. To change default meta tags for content pages navigate job board software admin:
Settings: SEO: Default title & meta tags
2. Enter new title and click to save changes
Default keywords and descriptions are changeable in the same way. Changes will take effect immediately.
Setting up unique meta tags (overriding default meta tags for specific content pages)
Every content page utilizes the default meta title, description, and keywords, as previously described. However, certain content pages may necessitate unique tags. To incorporate these distinct meta tags and replace the default settings on a generic content page, follow these steps:
1. Open content node from the admin tree, for example About Us

2. Edit content node meta tags to override default meta tags

1. For SEO Pro packages navigate admin section of your job board application
Settings: SEO: Job details page template
Settings: SEO: Employer template
Settings: SEO: Resume template
2. Click on meta tag name (title/keywords/description) or page header to edit template for automatic generation based on job data
3. Use legend for the list of job/resume/employer data variables that can be used on job details (resume details, employer profiles) meta tags or header
NOTE:
- Meta title should be between 50 and 65 characters including spaces and meta description should be between 70 and 160 characters including spaces for best SEO performance. Meta keywords should be comma-separated.
